Roses are red, coffee is brown…

On Valentine’s Day, EspressGo’s got it down!

Leave those expensive restaurants to other people. On Valentine’s Day, all you really need is that special someone. What could be more romantic than a night in with a roaring fire and some great coffee?

If you want to brew up some romance on Valentine’s Day, EspressGo has got you covered. Here are some coffee-related Valentine’s ideas, just for you.

1 – A romantic coffee recipe

Treat yourself and your Valentine to a delicious Black Forest Coffee treat. It’s warm, luxuriant, and who knows, there may be some whipped cream left over at the end? Here’s how you make it.

  • Two cups of your favourite coffee
  • 1 tablespoon of chocolate syrup
  • 50g maraschino cherries
  • Chocolate sprinkles
  • Whipped cream

Before you make the coffee, mash up the cherries in a bowl. Mash them hard so you get all the juice out. Remember to remove the stones, you want a romantic evening, not a trip to the hospital!

Alternatively, you could use pre-bought cherry juice, but that’s 10% less romantic.

Brew up the coffee and add half a tablespoon of chocolate syrup to both cups.

Next, add the cherry juice and stir in well. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles.

2 – A coffee shop date night

Restaurants are expensive. Bars are loud. If you insist on going out on Valentine’s Day, there’s only one choice for a romantic night out, a coffee shop. Here are a few ideas for coffee shops you can enjoy with your special Valentine. What’s more, if you can’t tear yourself away from your companion to wait in the queue for a coffee, you can order on your EspressGo app!
