Why are Dasher and Dancer always on coffee breaks? Because they’re star bucks!

Anyway. It’s getting cold outside. The sound of Michael Buble wafts gently from every shop door. It can only mean one thing. Christmas is coming!

After a long shopping trip or a marathon round of carol singing, nothing warms you up like a lovely hot cup of coffee. With a bit of imagination, it’s easy to Christmas up your coffee. Here are 3 cool Christmassy coffee ideas.

1 – Gingerbread Latte

What could be more Christmassy than the delicious taste of gingerbread? Make your own delicious gingerbread latte by mixing the following ingredients in a pot or mug, and simply heating it all up.

   1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

   1/8 teaspoon of ground ginger

2 teaspoons of molasses (blackstrap molasses for the most authentic taste)

   1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

   3 teaspoons of coffee

The secret is to use light eggnog and fat-free milk. Heat up 1/2 a cup of eggnog and 1/4 cup of milk in a pan, and whisk it into a froth. Add it to a cup of black coffee and sprinkle some nutmeg on the top.

Our final Christmas coffee cracker is this little winter warmer, a peppermint mocha latte. All the Christmas flavours you love, mint, vanilla, chocolate and coffee in one delicious mug.

Make your latte froth by warming milk, then mixing in a tablespoon of dark chocolate syrup and a single drop of peppermint extract. Whisk it well until it’s frothy, then place it on top of your cup of coffee. You won’t believe how great it tastes.
